CREIA Announces Orange County Chapter as "Chapter of the Year"

Duane McCutcheon, Chairman of the California Real Estate Inspection Association

(CREIA), has announced the decision of the board of directors in selecting the

Orange County Chapter as Chapter of the Year for 2007-2008.

Duane recently awarded a plaque to Scott Swickard, President of the Chapter in the picture above. The plaque reads:

Scott Swickard, Owner of InspectOC, and president of the Orange County Chapter of CREIA, humbly accepts this award, and gives credit to the other officers, committee chairpersons, and many other volunteers making up the chapter. Without the help of all of these valuable contributors, this award would not be possible.

The Chapter of the Year Award is given to the Chapter that has demonstrated leadership through promotion of CREIA and its mission, throughout its membership and the Real Estate community.  According to McCutcheon, "In a changing Real Estate Market, business can be more difficult, and during this time Scott and his team in the Orange County Chapter have excelled in promoting CREIA, its membership, and the educational opportunities and rewards of participation. They exemplify what CREIA is all about."

About the Orange County Chapter of CREIA:

The Orange County Chapter is a combined CREIA and ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) chapter, and welcomes all members and non-members to attend its monthly chapter dinners, as well as educational seminars (called toolboxes). Currently with approximately 80 members, including Master CREIA Inspectors (MCI), the highest level of achievement, Certified CREIA Inspectors (CCI), plus Affiliates and Candidates (or applicants for certified membership).
